CONSTITUTION AND BY-LAWS

ARTICLE I - CLUB PURPOSE

A YEAR-ROUND RECREATION CLUB TO PROMOTE SKIING AND SIMILAR WHOLESOME OUTDOOR AND INDOOR RECREAT ION, RUN FOR THE ENJOYMENT OF MEMBERS AND THEIR GUESTS AS AN INFORMAL AND NO-PROFIT ORGANIZATION.

ARTICLE II -- ORGANIZATION

A. OFFICERS AND DUTIES

PRESIDENT - PRESIDES OVER AND DIRECTS THE ACTIVITIES OF THE CLUB.

VICE-PRESIDENT - COORDINATES THE ACTIVITIES OF THE COMMITTEES AND PROGRAMS. ASSISTS THE PRESIDENT AND ACTS IN HIS ABSENCE.

TREASURER - RESPONSIBLE FOR CLUB FUNDS, RECEIPTS, RECORDS AND PAYMENT OF BILLS AS AUTHORIZED BY THE DIRECTORS.

SECRETARV - RESPONSIBLE FOR MINUTES OF MEETINGS, NOTIFICATIONS, MEMBERSHIP RECORDS, ETC.

ARTICLE III - MEMBERSHIP REQUIREMENTS

1. MEMBERS TO BE AWARE OF THE PURPOSES OF THE CLUB AND BE HELPFUL IN BUILDING AND MAINTAINING THE SPIRIT OF THE CLUB.

2. IN ADDITION TO THE CONTRIBUTION OF WORK FOR THE CLUB, DUES ARE TO BE $5.00 PER PERSON, OR $10.00 PER FAMILY, EACH YEAR. DEPENDENT CHILDREN OF THE IMMEDIATE FAMILY UNDER 21 YEARS OF AGE ARE INCLUDED INTHE FAMILY MEMBERSHIP.

3. MEMBERSHIP QUOTA: 100 PAYING ADULTS.

4. MEMBERS MAY BE EXPELLED OR SUSPENDED UPON RECOM- MENDATION OF THE MEMBERSHIP COMMITTEE AND UNANIMOUS VOTE OF THE BOARD OF DIRECTORS.

ARTICLE IV - BY-LAWS

1. AMENDMENTS TO THE CONSTITUTION OR THE BY-LAWS MAY BE VOTED BY A TWO-THIRDS MAJORITY OF THE MEMBERS PRESENT AT A MEETING CALLED AFTER DUE NOTIFICATION HAS BEEN GIVEN.

2. REGULAR MONTHLY OR SCHEDULED MEETINGS OF THE ClUB MAY BE USED TO TRANSACT ANY REGULAR CLUB BUSINESS BY A MAJORITY VOTE OF THOSE PRESENT.

3. THE USE OF INTOXICATING LIQUOR IS NOT PERMITTED ON THE CLUB PREMISES.

4. THE CLUB OFFICERS AND CHAIRMAN ARE TO BE ELECTED ANNUALLY FOR A TERM OF ONE YEAR.

AMENDMENTS

1 .APRIL 1, 1951. DUES SHALL BE PAYABLE ON OR BEFORE APRIL 1ST, YEARLY. MEMBERS WHOSE DUES ARE NOT PAID BY JUNE 30TH, WILL BE DROPPED FROM THE MEMBERSHIP LIST.

2. A. THE BOARD OF DIRECTORS WILL BE EXPANDED BY THREE MEMBERS AT LARGE, ONE OF WHOM WILL BE THE RETIRING PRESIDENT.

B. THAT THE SKI COMMITTEE BE INCLUDED AS A STANDING COMMITTEE.

3. MAY 1959 AMENDMENT TO ARTICLE III. MEMBERSHIP REQUIRE- MENTS ARE PAYMENT OF DUES, WHICH ARE $5.00 PER PERSON OR $10.00 PER FAMILY, AND CONTRIBUTION OF 4 HOURS WORK PER YEAR PER FAMILY ON CLUB PROJECTS. FAILURE TO COMPLY WITH THE ABOVE REQUIREMENT WILL CAUSE AUTOMATIC FORFEITURE OF MEMBERSHIP.
